Recent Performances

Other recent performances have included The Artificial Jungle by Charles Ludlum, directed by Everett Quinton (which got an Off-Broadway Theatre Alliance nomination for Best Revival of a Play), On The Town (gorgeous anniversary production at the Martha Graham studios), and An Evening of Rodgers & Hart which somehow landed me a nomination for a Broadway World Best Cabaret Performance Award. Surprisingly I was ranked next to Audra McDonald, Bebe Neuwirth and the late Marin Mazzie! And in March 2018 I was thrilled to be honored with André DeShields at one of Bobbie Horowitz's Cabaret tributes at Don't Tell Mama. Holland and I sang The Story Goes On and then I played for André singing None of Us Are Free (which I actually taught him a while back!).

The Look List

Somewhere along the line I also made a short film, too! It's called The Look List and it was featured in the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge, as well as a finalist in Australia's Focus On Ability Film Festival. I directed the wildly diverse & talented cast and also wrote the catchy theme song at the end, which happens to be inSpectacular Falls!

THe Hollander People

The Hollander People (Celia, Rev Rachel, Charlie, Holland & I) have been singing & playing my original Shabbat prayer settings at synagogues in several cities, including Concord MA, Canton and Cleveland OH, several times at our old stomping grounds, Fairmount Temple. We've been warmly welcomed and have so enjoyed singing and playing together as a family again. There's no harmony like family harmony!

New Family Member

And speaking of Family, we are adding a new member to OURS! The wonderful Danny Kessler is engaged to our marvelous daughter Holland Hamilton. Both are finishing up their Masters degrees (NYU & Bank St College). Holland has already been teaching full time at Friends Seminary as well as Neighborhood Playhouse and performing with Village Playback Theatre, while one of Danny's educational games got picked up by a National Games Show and his new play is taking shape as well. Paul recently performed in Twelfth Night in Central Park with Boomerang Theatre and continues to co-host The Congregation, a NYC play-reading group.
